Hey I am Nupur!

I grew up in a military family, my father had been a Navy officer for many yrs. Being a fauji child, from a very early age, I got used to the idea of traveling extensively, moving houses almost every year, meeting new people all the time, and of course, making friends for life from different corners across India. Never a dull moment! But along with the adventure, I was lucky to discover and experience closely the unique heritage and artifacts which have been part of our beautiful culture. Such memories stay with the person forever no matter what path one takes! 

After completing my Master's, I jumped onto the corporate wagon and have been working as a consultant in a reputable company. While been happily married to my dashing fauji husband, learning how to pack and unpack at break neck speed and enjoying my work, I sensed a longing to reconnect myself to the amazing Indian heritage and my love for art that always fascinated me, and hence came my concept store: Hastakãari ~हस्तकारी - a blend of handcrafted goodness with a splash of desi-ness!
